A.G. Gaston(1892-1996) was an African - American business-man and a multi-millionaire. He founded the Booker T Washington Insurance co. in Birmingham in 1923 with 5oo dollars and began selling insurance policies to steel workers.
His net worth was estimated to be more than 130,000,ooo at thetime of his death.
