Tiny Archibald
Biography
For a professional basketball player, a nickname like “Tiny” is not generally a good thing. Although he certainly wasn’t big at 6’ 1”, Nate “Tiny” Archibald wasn’t exactly small either, and he played huge. In a 14-year pro career, Archibald played for five different teams and won an NBA title with the Boston Celtics. A second round pick out of the University of Texas-El Paso, Archibald was a complete player. He is the only player in history to lead the league in both assists and scoring, plus he was a tremendous free throw shooter. Named an NBA All-Star seven times in his career, Archibald was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 1991 and also named a member of the NBA’s 50th Anniversary All-Time Team.
Even though he’s been retired for more than two decades, Nate “Tiny” Archibald still has strong name recognition, and TSE can help you bring a Nate Archibald appearance to your event. Contact us right now and we’ll help you make it happen.
Nate Archibald Speaker
Certainly a Tiny Archibald speaker appearance can include stories about his NBA career and time playing with Larry Bird on the Celtics, but Archibald has also taught basketball to underprivileged kids and worked as an athletic director at a homeless shelter in Harlem.
