Arturo Schomburg was born in P.R. and during the period of time that he was attending grade school he was informed of the mis-fact pertaining to
the misinterpretation of Negro non-existence of meaningful contributions
to the American cultural society. Arturo spent the balance of his life
destroying that myth.
