Virginia E Randolph (1874-1958) was an African- American education, social worker and humanitarian.
She improved industrial skills and education in general,in every one of the country's rural, schools for blacks.
In 1929,fire destroyed the Randolph Training School. A bigger brick school was built later that year in it's stead.
Currently,several education programs are housed in the Virginia Educational Center.
