Earl Lloyd

Earl Francis Lloyd was born on April 3. 1928 in Alexandria, Virginia

He was the first African-American basketball player to play in the National Basketball Association, in the 1951 NBA season. Three other blacs played in the same season, including Chuck Cooper.
