Boober T. Washington was an educator, advocate and spokesman. He was orinally denied an education ,however , he perservered in his pursuit of academia and in doing so he founded the Tuskgee Institute as a way to help Blacks develo economic self- reliance_a value that is still taught to thousands of graduates of this prestigious university.
