Dr. May Edward Chinn

Dr. May Edward Chinn(1896-1980) was born in Great Barrington, Mass.

She was the first African- american woman to graduate from Bellevue Hospital medical School in 1926. She was also the first black female intern at Harlem Hospital, and for many years the only black female physician in Harlem Hospital
