C. ERIC LINCOLN (1924-2000) was an educator, sociologist, writer, and minister. Mr. lincoln was born in Athens. Alabama.
Dr. lincoln taught at more than a dozen colleges and Universities before arriving at Duke in 197.
he retired from Duke in in 1993, but continued to write,lecture and serve as media expert on race relations and religion.
