NATHANIEL (SWEETWATER) CLIFTON

Nathaniel(Sweetwater) Clifton, known primarily for being the first African-American player in the N.B. A.

Nate served in the army during W.W. 11 and also played basketball for the Harlem Globetrotters before being drafted into N.B.A. in 1951.
